The Brain Innovation Days is preparing for its 5th edition, building on the success of previous years. With a mission to bring the brain ecosystem together to exchange knowledge and accelerate investment in research and innovation, key players and experts in the brain space will have the opportunity to connect through a networking-friendly programme and innovation showcasing.
This subtheme explores cutting-edge neuroscience research to propel leadership in brain health innovation and unlock Europe’s global competitiveness through novel technologies, funding opportunities and collaborations. By doing so, the subtheme examines strengths and weaknesses of the current EU brain research ecosystem to pave a clear path for Europe to excel globally.
The session focuses on addressing inequalities in brain health, stemming for instance from geographic, socioeconomic, gender or ethnic disparities.
By investigating the influence of various brain health risks on developing brains, this subtheme aims to shed light on brain health determinants by addressing ethical considerations and policy implications.
Exploring brain health determinants across diverse sectors – this subtheme explores how interdisciplinary approaches can reshape societal well-being and foster innovation beyond the traditional brain space.
